Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Malayna - the maker, gardener, and hands behind LemonLuff Organic.

LemonLuff started with a simple desire to create gentle, thoughtfully made skincare for my family. What began with handmade soap eventually grew into something much more personal - especially when luffa became part of the story.

The luffas I use aren't something I simply order from a supplier. I grow them myself, right here in my garden in Lumberton, Texas. They begin as tiny seeds and spend months climbing vines, flowering, and growing into large gourds. I harvest and peel them by hand, clean and dry the natural fibers, and then turn them into exfoliating products for my little business.

Those homegrown luffas have become the heart of LemonLuff Organic.

There's something incredibly special about being able to follow an ingredient all the way from seed, to garden, to finished product. It means I know exactly where my luffa comes from - because I watched it grow.

Today, I handcraft soaps, lotions, luffa scrub bars, heel polish, and other skin-loving essentials in small batches using thoughtfully selected oils, botanicals, and simple ingredients. Some products take me from the garden to the soap pot to hand sewing before they're finally ready to leave my hands and go to yours.

LemonLuff has grown more than I ever expected, but the heart of it hasn't changed. It's still small-batch. It's still hands-on. And it's still made with the same care that started it all.
